In The Eye of the Beholder

Well, I know I said I would only do this Monday – Friday…let’s call this a bonus post.

There is a new one by Jeffrey Archer in the Amazon Kindle store: it’s listed as a short story, but at nearly 400KB long (Kindle electronic book size), it is just as long or longer than a lot of books.  Besides, Jeffrey Archer is one heck of a storyteller in my opinion.  I’m going to try and read it this weekend – assuming I get the chores around the house done!

In the Eye of the Beholder by Jeffrey Archer is 99 cents in the Amazon Kindle store, and you can pick up your copy by clicking here or typing in http://amzn.to/q9zebO into your computer’s web browser.

Here is the book’s description from the Amazon website:

Previously published in the anthology Cat O’Nine Tales.

A star athlete who has a fateful run-in with a three-hundred pound woman. One of the author’s own personal favorites, In the Eye of the Beholder is Jeffrey Archer at his best—witty, suspenseful, sad, surprising, and unforgettable.

Published Monday – Friday (with an occasional weekend post) this blog, Kindle Books for a Buck or Less, primary focus is on the independent author as there are jewels beyond the “name brand” authors. If you would like to try out the free two-week trial subscription on your Kindle, click here or type in http://amzn.to/kb4abuck into your computer’s web browser. Who knows, you might find a new favorite author!
