Here is the book’s description from the Amazon website:
There are people who are so toxic, they poison everyone around them. But what do you do when that person is your mother? And after eighteen years of painful separation, she moves in with you? Sandy Hughes thought she had left her difficult past behind her, but now it’s followed her across the country and into her home. This inspirational novel is humorous, poignant, shows faith and forgiveness.

I am not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best Christian novels I’ve ever read. The mother-daughter relationship is so full of angst and humor that I cried when I was done. I just loved it and have found few novels that capture the emotions and turmoil of family relationships in such a special way.
